ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – In day two of the Vassar and Bard women's soccer game, the Brewers (6-3-1, 2-1-0 Liberty) scored three goals within six minutes to down the Raptors (4-5-1, 0-3-0 Liberty) 3-0 on Wednesday evening.
A closely contested first half foreshadowed a low scoring affair. Vassar outshot Bard 9-5 with the Brewers taking the sole corner. The team opened play on the attack with four shots the first 10 minutes, but were unable to connect. Five of Vassar's first half shots were on goal, but Bard's Abigail Stanley made saves on all of them.

th minute they finally broke.
Rebecca Andrews (Los Altos, CA) picked the ball up at the left side of the net off a scramble and then launched the shot into the upper right corner. Less than two minutes later,
Ashley Ferry (Westfield, NJ) connected with
Sara Seper (New Hyde Park, NY) during a counter attack. Ferry made the cross to Seper who was running full speed for the goal.
At the 82
nd minute, a Vassar corner lined
Savannah Cutler (Deer Park, TX). Freshman
Madio Wallner (Incline Village, NV) took the pass and headed the score for her first-career goal.
Fiona Walsh (Hackettstown, NJ) played the full game in goal and made three saves on seven shots faced. She also picks up her second shutout of the season.
