Men's Basketball Notes - College Park Classic

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (December 20, 2017) – The Vassar men's basketball team heads to Washington, D.C. for two more non-conference games before the end of 2017. The Brewers will face Catholic on Friday, December 29 at 5:00 p.m. in the opening game of the Holiday Inn College Park Classic. On Saturday, December 30, Vassar will take on either Ursinus or Marymount in their second game of the tournament with a game time of either 5:00 or 7:00 p.m. depending on the outcome of the games.

Last Time Out: The Vassar men's basketball team faced their third ranked opponent of the season as they took on No. 18 Wesleyan University on December 6th in the AFC. The Cardinals came out on top with an 83-68 win. Senior Jesse Browne led the Brewers offense with 19 points while also adding three assists and two rebounds. Paul Grinde added 15 points and Hunter Gettings had his second straight outing with double figure points chipping in 12 points.
