A Look At The Sharks (0-0):
  •  Simmons finished off last season with a record of 8-16.
  • They went 6-10 in their conference, and fell to Emmanuel College in the GNAC Quarterfinals.
  • Sophomore Francesca Corsinetti will look to fill the shoes of the Sharks' graduated bucket-getters. Last season, Corsinetti averaged 8.8 points in just 23.1 minutes, and knocked down nearly two threes per game.
  • On the season, Simmons shot 33.2% from the field, 28.6% from three, and 69.8% from the line.
  • Despite suffering some lopsided losses toward the end of the season, the Sharks were able to net 57.3 points per game, while allowing just 62.9.

Against Simmons All-Time: The Brewers are 4-0 all-time against the Sharks, but the two teams haven't faced one another since 1991.

A Look At The Dragons (0-0):
  • Last season, the Red Dragons finished 15-11, and 12-6 in their conference.
  • The Red Dragons' second- and third-leadings scorers last season were freshmen. Leanne Corso averaged 7.7 points per game, and Alexa Amalbert averaged 7.2.

  • The Red Dragons were dead even across almost every other category with their opponents – rebounds, assists, and turnovers.
  • Madline Frank held down the paint for last year, posting 8 rebounds per game to along with her 6.2 points.

Against Oneonta All-Time: The Brewers are 1-1 against the Dragons all-time. Their last meeting was back in 1999, when the Brewers prevailed 68-59 at home.

A Look At The Blue (0-0):
  • The Blue are coming off an 8-14 season which ended in a 7-game losing streak.
  • Sophomore sensation Caitlin Aguirre is coming off a great freshman campaign in which she won NEWMAC Rookie of the Year with 10.5 points per game.

  • Sophomore guard Kendall You Mak returns after leading the team in assists last year with 2.1 and second in rebounds at 4.3.
  • The Blue were fairly equal to the rest of the NEWMAC last year in most major categories. This year they look to stand out more versus the competition.

Against Wellesley All-Time: The Brewers are 9-5 against the Blue all-time dating back to their first meeting in 1989. Vassar has won two straight against Wellesley, their last win was in 2013 (55-41).
