Last Time Out: The Vassar women defeated Skidmore College on Saturday, November 5th, earning a 159-125 win over the Thoroughbreds . Vassar saw
Sammy Stone win in both the 1000 free with a time of 11:04.90 and a win in the 100 free, while Cunningham also chalked up a win in the 200 butterfly with a time just qualifying for the NCAA "B" qualification in her second meet of the season.
Kael Ragnini took the win in the 500 yard free with a time of 5:25.78.
A Look At The Brewers:
· VC returns its most decorated swimmer in program history in
Julia Cunningham, who finished fifth at the NCAA Championships last year in the 200 butterfly. She also earned invitations to the NCAA Championships in the 400 IM and 200 breast stroke.
· Vassar's
Julia Cunningham promises to amaze—finishing fifth at the NCAA Championships last year in the 200 butterfly, she has already qualified for the NCAA B-cut in the event two meets into the season.
· Cunningham won in the 200 medley relay, the 200 butterfly, the 200 breaststroke, and the 200 IM event.

Sammy Stone finished first in the 1000 free with a time of 11:04.90, almost 30 seconds better than the runner-up. She also finished first in the 100 free, and the 100 backstroke.

Kael Ragnini finished on top in the 500 free with a time of 5:25.78. She also participated in the 400 free relay win.

Elisielle Wilson placed third in the 1-meter diving event with a 124.05, a personal record for the season.
· Vassar finished the 2014-15 season with a flurry of new records, breaking five at the UNYSCSA Championships; 33 members of the squad swam lifetime bests at the event.
· Five of the current Brewers swimmers members hold records at Vassar.
· Head coach
Lisl Prater-Lee is in her 23
rd season this year for the Brewers, having joined the staff in 1993.
· Cunningham was recently honored in the Liberty League Performers of the Week release along with five other Brewers.
A Look At The Engineers:
· RPI comes into Saturday's meet with a 2-1 record on the season, having fallen to Ithaca College 120-180 but beating both RIT and WPI by more than 70 points each.
· The RPI women are 2-1 and have won 14 of their last 15 dual meets.
· Engineer swimmer Danielle Suave won the 200 free (1:58.85), the 50 free (25.14), the 500 free (5:19.96), and participated on the 200 free relay team (1:41.89) in the Engineers' match against WPI.
· Amanda Wang also chalked up four wins (200 free relay, 200 medley relay, 100 backstroke, and 200 backstroke), while Shinny Lin and Siena Sara finished with three wins apiece.
· Lin won three events vs. Ithaca, posting a 2:05.97 in the 200 butterfly, earning her an NCAA B-cut time. She posted two other wins that meet.
· Head coach Shannon O'Brien is in her 22
nd season as the head coach of the Engineers, earning a B.A. from Ithaca College in 1993 and an M.A. from RPI in 2005. She has an overall record of 237-176 in 21 years.
Against RPI: Last season, the Brewers fell to RPI 111.5-188.5, the then freshmen Stone and Ragnini winning the 1000 free and the 500 free respectively.
Mia Moraru reset her school record in the 3-meter diving event. The Engineers won 11.5 events.
Up Next: The Vassar squad travels to Kings Point, NY next Saturday afternoon at 11 a.m. to participate in the United States Merchant Marine Academy invitational.
