POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (April 24, 2015) – The Vassar men's tennis team (7-9, 3-2 Liberty) will play its final two regular season dual matches of the season this weekend against St. Lawrence University and Hobart College April 25-26. The Brewers will honor
William Zhu (San Francisco, CA/Lowell) of the class of 2015 for senior day on Saturday against St. Lawrence.
Last Time Out: Vassar finished off its Liberty League doubleheader weekend with a 9-0 win over the Rochester Institute of Technology on April 19 to remain in the hunt for a bid to the conference postseason tournament.

A Look at the Saints: St. Lawrence is coming off a 2-7 loss to Skidmore last weekend, and enter the weekend 8-7 overall and 2-3 in the Liberty League. After playing Vassar on Saturday, the Saints will travel to Schenectady, NY to face Union in its final match of the regular season. Two wins could catapult the Saints into contention for the No. 4 seed in the conference tournament.
Rhonny Rosario has played the bulk of St. Lawrence's No. 1 singles matches, holding a 9-9 overall record and 5-7 mark in dual match play. John Megas and Robert Schmitz have had success at No. 1 doubles for the Saints, going 7-1 overall as a pair.
Last Meeting: The Brewers earned an 8-1 victory over St. Lawrence when the teams played last season on March 29 in Canton, NY.

A Look at the Statesmen: Hobart will look to snap a two-match losing streak when the Statesmen host Vassar for their final match of the regular season on Sunday. Hobart is 10-7 overall and 4-2 in the Liberty League, and can finish no worse than fourth in the conference heading into the weekend.
Michael Rusk has been the No. 1 singles player for Hobart for the majority of the year, going 13-11 overall and 8-8 in dual matches. Matt DePrima and Michael Fields have teamed up to go 11-9 and 7-7 at No. 1 doubles for the Statesmen.
Last Meeting: Vassar downed Hobart 7-2 last season, winning two of three doubles matches and five of six singles bouts to secure the team victory.
In the Polls ITA Division III Full RankingsVassar held its No. 19 ranking in the Northeast Region in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association Rankings released last week. Sophomore
Nick Litsky moved up one spot as he was tabbed the No. 15 singles player in the region.
Up Next: Depending on this weekend's results, Vassar could earn as high as the No. 3 seed in the Liberty League Tournament held May 2-3 at the Reis Center in Ithaca, NY.
