Last Time Out: It came down to the final race of the evening, as SUNY-New Paltz held off the Vassar men's swimming team 149-132 on October 30 in a dual meet at Kresge Pool.

Last Meeting: Vassar earned a 167-114 team decision over Skidmore when the teams met in a dual meet last year at Kresge Pool. The Brewers were paced by 11 event victories out of 16.

Meet Format: Vassar will compete head-to-head against the Skidmore in 16 events.

A Look at the Thoroughbreds (2-0): Skidmore is off to a solid start in 2015, winning its first two dual meets against St. Lawrence and SUNY-Potsdam. The Thoroughbreds narrowly edged the Saints in the team's season opener on October 30, winning 117-116. The team came back the very next day and won its second in a row with a 129-101 decision over the Bears.

Skidmore freshman Hiro Kamei was named the Liberty League Rookie of the Week on Monday after posting five first place finishes for the Thoroughbreds in their opening weekend.  Against St. Lawrence he placed first in the 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard breaststroke with a record setting time of 1:01.25. He added a first-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke against Potsdam and teamed with Harrison Shockley, Teague Costello and Charlie Bullis for first in the 200-yard medley relay in both meets.
