Last Time Out: Vassar got a trio of goals from its freshmen class, while senior Emma Nichols (Lexington, MA/Lexington secured her school-record 13th career shutout as the Brewers knocked off the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute 3-0 on October 24.

A Look at the Raptors: Bard's regular season will come to an end on Wednesday, as the Raptors will play their final Liberty League game vs. the Brewers. Bard carries a 7-8-1 overall record and 1-6 mark in the Liberty League into the match, but is much improved from a season ago when the team finished 5-11-2 and 0-7-1 in the conference. Bard picked up its historic first-ever win in the Liberty League on October 2 with a 2-0 victory vs. Clarkson, and is currently riding a two-game winning streak with wins over Utica College and Mount Holyoke College.

Senior Abbey Labrecque has led the Raptors on offense this season, totaling a team-best 12 points on five goals and two assists. Sophomore Avalon Qian has also netted five goals, while three other players have posted two goals or more this season. The Bard goalkeepers have split time this season, with senior Ryan O'Connell starting the past three games. She holds a 0.652 save percentage and 2.42 goals against average on the year.

Against Bard All-Time: Vassar holds a 16-0-1 all-time record vs. the Raptors, and will be looking to avenge its one blemish on the series after tying Bard last season 1-1 on October 28.

Vassar Postseason Outlook: The Brewers can clinch a playoff spot with wins over Bard and Union in its final two games. A loss to Bard (1-6 LL) or Union (3-4 LL) would virtually eliminate the team from postseason contention, but there are scenarios to advance based on league results.

Liberty League Outlook: The Liberty League playoff picture has become clearer as the conference's teams finish up league play this week. No. 6 William Smith sits atop the conference at 7-0, followed by RIT (6-0-1). The winner of the teams' matchup on October 31 will win the regular season title, while the loser will claim the No. 2 seed. A tie will put William Smith at No. 1, RIT at No. 2. The Brewers are currently sixth at 2-2-2, but could jump a few spots with a win over Bard. Check out the full league standings here.

League of Her Own: Emma Nichols made history in VC's 3-0 win over RPI, securing her school-record 13th career shutout. Nichols was previously tied for first on the all-time list with Anne Hutchinson (2006-08) and Debbie Brand (1992-95), but she now becomes the outright program leader. Her seven shutouts this season ranks second on the all-time season list, tied with Brand and Emily Spencer (1995-98).

First Year Firepower: The class of '19 has the future for Vassar women's soccer looking bright, as the freshmen have accounted for 46.6% of the team's points this season. The first-years have scored 12 of the team's 21 goals, including three in Vassar's win over RPI.

Set Up Player: Sophomore Amanda McFarland now has six assists on the year, the most in a single season by a Brewer since Sarah Bourenane (2011-14) posted six back in 2011. McFarland recorded her second career multi-assist game after finishing with two against RPI.

Andrews Unloading: Despite missing five games due to injury this season, freshman Rebecca Andrews leads the team in goals (6) and points (13). She has scored in four of her last five games played, and has the most goals by a freshman since Kelsey Domb (2011-13) scored seven in 2011.

Goals Trending Up: Vassar has scored 21 goals this season, three more than its total (18) from 2014. VC currently sports an average of 1.40 g/game through 15 contests.

50-Club: Head coach Corey Holton reached a coaching milestone vs. RPI, sealing her 50th career victory as a head coach of Division III soccer. She currently has 16 wins at VC, paired with 29 wins as the head coach of Concordia Texas and five wins at Worchester Polytechnic Institute.

Winning Season: Holton and the Brewers secured the program's fourth consecutive winning season after defeating RPI. Vassar has a chance to reach 10 wins for the first time since the 2010 season when the team finished 12-5-2.

Non-Conference Wrap Up: After defeating Wesleyan on October 6, Vassar finished non-conference play with a 6-3 record this season.

Starters x5: Five players have started in all 15 games for the Brewers this season, including Lucy Brainerd (Littleton, CO/Heritage), Amanda McFarland (Redwood City, CA/Menlo) junior Kelsey Hamm (Wilmington, NC/John T. Hoggard), senior Emma Nichols and sophomore Carolina Alvarez (Weston, FL/Cypress Bay).

Overtime Warriors: Vassar has already played six overtime contests in 2015, three more than the team's total extra time games from last season. After finishing in with three ties in OT last season, Vassar is 2-2-2 in overtime contests in 2015.

Next Up: Vassar will wrap up the regular season on Halloween, October 31 at home vs. Union. The Vassar women's soccer team will honor its four seniors in a pregame ceremony for senior day.
