What To Watch ForThe Brewers will look to bounce back from back-to-back losses against RIT and No. 16 Clarkson, Vassar will also look to gain some momentum heading into the second Liberty League weekend on October 3, where they have four crucial matches against Skidmore, Clarkson, Union, and St. Lawrence. 
A Look at the Hawks (7-10, 4-0 CUNY)Hunter has had an up-and-down season thus far. The Hawks opened their season with a 1-3 finish at the NYU Tournament, followed by a 2-2 performance at the Kean Tournament. Hunter then bounced back with four 3-0 sweeps against CUNY opponents CCNY, York, John Jay, and Brooklyn. This past Saturday, the Hawks lost three close matches, including two five-set thrillers, to Mt. Aloysius, FDU-Florham, and Ramapo. 
The Hawks are lead on offense by freshman outside hitter Julia Connolly, with 141 total kills. Connolly is followed by senior middle hitter Lucia Stosic with 110 kills, on a team-high .274 hitting percentage. Senior Taylor Kordich and sophomore Kristine Ciurcina split the setting duties, totaling 216 and 188 assists, respectively. On defense, Stosic leads the team with 34 solo blocks and 77 total blocks, while Connolly paces the back row with 122 digs.

Against Hunter All-TimeVassar currently leads the series 12-8, dating back to 1991. Vassar owns the longest winning streak in the series as well, defeating Hunter five straight times from 2003 to 2007. The last Hawks' win came on Oct. 29, 2008, where they won 3-0. In last meeting between the two teams on Oct. 14, 2009, Vassar emerged victorious 3-0. 
CCSenior hitter 
Clara Cardillo has been big at the net for the Brewers, posting at least three blocks in three of the four matches this past weekend. Cardillo currently leads the team with 38 total blocks. 
Last Line Of DefenseJunior libero 
Chloe Hallum has continued her stellar play in the back row, posting 22 digs against RIT, as well as 18 digs in just three sets against No. 16 Clarkson. Hallum is currently ranked third in the league with 4.73 digs per set. 
Heavy HitterSenior hitter 
Taylor Mosley continues to be the go-to hitter for Vassar, leading the team with 140 kills on a team-high 432 attempts. Mosley is currently ranked sixth in the league with 2.64 kills per set. 
Taking AdvantageSophomore hitter 
Sarah Roberts has made the most of her time on the court, knocking down fifteen total kills with just three errors, and leads the team in hitting percentage, hitting at an impressive .279 clip. 
Ace Up Our SleeveVassar is currently second in the Liberty League in service aces, averaging 2.60 per set. Mosley paces the Brewers with 0.58 aces per set, good for fourth in the league, while freshman setter 
Sophia Tiajoloff is currently eighth with 0.54 aces per set. 
Gone 'Til NovemberAfter this match, the Brewers head out on a season-long 13-game road trip, traveling to play in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. 
Up NextVassar will start its road trip when it travels to Potsdam, NY and Canton, NY on Oct. 3-4 for four crucial Liberty League matches against Skidmore, Clarkson, Union, and St. Lawrence.
