What to Look For: The Brewers will need to be at the top of their game Saturday, facing a very tough Oneonta squad that has advanced to the NCAA tournament the last three seasons. The Vassar defense will likely be tested early and often, facing a Red Dragon squad that is averaging 3.25 goals and 18.8 shots per game.

Last Time Out:  Vassar picked up its fourth straight win against Manhattanville on Wednesday to move to 5-0-1 overall on the year. Junior Cosmo Veneziale (Garden City, NY/Garden City) scored the game's only goal in the 14th minute, and now leads the Brewers in scoring with 7 points (3 g, 1 a) on the year.

A Look at the Red Dragons: SUNY-Oneonta tallied its fourth win of the season against Elmira College on Tuesday, cruising to a 4-0 victory with goals from four different Red Dragons. Oneonta is one of eight teams left in the nation that has not yet allowed a goal this season. Opponents are only averaging 6.3 shots per game on the Red Dragons, with only 24% on goal through the team's first four games. Junior Midfielder Dylan Williams leads the Red Dragons with three goals this season, while junior Jake Sutherland freshman Cory Santangelo have both chipped in two each.

All-Time Series: Vassar is 0-1-1 against Oneonta State in the all-time series between the two schools, with both matches being played over the past two seasons. Last year the teams played to a 1-1 draw, after a goal from then-senior Rob Manukyan in the 87th minute forced double overtime.

Get Ahead, Stay Ahead: Vassar has yet to trail in a game this season, and was only unsuccessful in scoring in a 0-0 tie against Mt. St. Mary (NY). VC has won four out of five matchups by at least two goals.

Going Streaking: VC's four-game win streak is the longest for the Brewers since 2012, when the team captured four straight victories from October 20 to November 1 in Liberty League competition. With a win today, Vassar will make it to five games for the first time since 2007, when the Brewers opened the season on a 5-0 tear.

Sharing the Love: Vassar has had ten different players record a goal leading up to the tournament, as no one Brewer has emerged as the team's go-to scoring option. Junior Gavin Jennings (Poughkeepsie, NY/Arlington) currently leads the team with four assists.

Tough to Score: The Brewer defense has been impressive in the early goings of the season, allowing only two goals and 18 shots on goal in six games. Sophomore goalkeeper Adam Warner (Tenafly, NJ/Tenafly) has been solid minding the net, making 13 saves and earning four shutouts.

Young Guns: This year's Vassar squad features only four seniors, making way for a large group of underclassmen to have an immediate impact. Freshmen defender Tanner Sands (Draper, UT/Juan Diego) and defensive midfielder Hayden Van Brewer (Wilbraham, MA/Minnechaug Regional) have started in all six games so far for the Brewers, while fellow newcomers Alex Gonzales (Aliso Viejo, CA/Mater Dei) and Noah Snider (Laramie, WY/Laramie) have combined to make six starts).

El-Capitans: A trio of the team's seniors including Justin Mitchell (Layton, UT/Northridge), Zach Zasipak (Chandler, AZ/Hamilton) and Tom Wiechert (Dana Point, CA/San Clemente) will serve as the team captains this year.

Vassar Ranked in the NCAAs: VC currently ranks in the top-25 across the nation in a select group of statistical categories (As of Sept. 9)
