POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (April 3, 2014) - The Vassar College Women's Rugby team missed out last weekend due to bad weather but return to action this Saturday taking on Princeton University at the Farm with the kick-off at 11:00 am.
The spring season is one for development and while the lineup is likely to look familiar at the start the plan is to move players around to give them experience at a position they may be playing next fall.
"We want to look at options for next fall so seniors get moved around a bit," said Head Coach
Tony Brown. The Brewers had a good tour to Trinidad where they won 3 games and now face the Tigers a Division I Ivy League team.

Vassar's Men face Union College at 2:00 pm and just like the Vassar women's program Coach Brown will play likely fall starters and move seniors around to accommodate these changes. Vassar defeated Union the last time these teams met at the Beast of the East Tournament some 4 years ago. Union are always a strong physical team and they will be joining the Tri-State Conference and be an opponent for Vassar next fall.
