What to Look For:
Vassar will host its first dual meet of the season on Saturday, facing Liberty League foe Skidmore. VC is 1-1 in the early goings of the season in dual meets.

Last Time Out:
Vassar previously swam against powerhouse NYU on November 1, falling to the Violets 199-87 on the road. Sophomore Julia Cunningham (Yardley, PA/Peddie School) shined for the Brewers, finishing with two wins in the 200 yard butterfly and 200 yard individual medley.

A Look at the Thoroughbreds:
Skidmore is 0-1-1 in dual meets this season, coming off a 114-114 tie to SUNY Potsdam on November 1. In their first meet of 2014-15 campaign, the Thoroughbreds fell to Liberty League foe St. Lawrence 123-73.
Skidmore's roster is heavily anchored by upperclassmen, as the Thoroughbreds have six seniors and four juniors leading the charge in 2014-15.

Head of the Thoroughbreds:
Jill Belding Greenleaf is in her 11th year at the helm of the Skidmore men's and women's swimming and diving programs. Under Greenleaf's leadership, Skidmore athletes have set 84 program records, while she has also served as an assistant coach at Smith College (2000-2002) and at Eastern Connecticut State University (1999-2000).

Previous Encounter:
Vassar earned a 164-130 meet victory last season when the team's met in Saratoga Springs, powered by none other than Julia Cunningham, who broke the school record in the 200 butterfly and earned an NCAA provisional B qualification. The Brewers finished with nine victories in all on the day.

Cunningham Among Nation's Elite:
Sophomore Julia Cunningham has churned out some of the top times in Division III through the first month of the collegiate season. She ranks fifth in the nation in the 200 fly (2:09.03) and 14th in the 100 fly (58.90), with both times posted at NYU.

Next Up:
The Vassar swimming and diving teams will again compete at Kresge Pool next Saturday, November 15 when RPI travels to Poughkeepsie for a dual meet.
