What to Look For:
Vassar will host its first dual meet of the season on Saturday, facing Liberty League foe Skidmore.

Last Time Out:
Vassar previously swam against powerhouse NYU on November 1, falling to the Violets 204-62 on the road.

A Look at the Thoroughbreds:
Skidmore is 1-1 in dual meets this season, coming off a tight 117-107 victory over SUNY Potsdam on November 1. In their first meet of 2014-15 campaign, the Thoroughbreds fell to Liberty League foe St. Lawrence 138-88.
Skidmore's roster features a mix of veterans and fresh faces, as the team is lead by four seniors with six new freshmen in their first season of collegiate swimming.

Head of the Thoroughbreds:
Jill Belding Greenleaf is in her 11th year at the helm of the Skidmore men's and women's swimming and diving programs. Under Greenleaf's leadership, Skidmore athletes have set 84 program records, while she has also served as an assistant coach at Smith College (2000-2002) and at Eastern Connecticut State University (1999-2000).

Previous Encounter:
Last year's meet between the two schools was about as close as they come, as the Brewers pulled off a huge 148-144 victory over Skidmore in Saratoga Springs. It came down to the final event, as the 400 yard freestyle relay team of Greg Cristina (Suffield, CT/Suffield) Isaiah Hale, Luc Amodio (Poughkeepsie, NY/Arlington) and Vincent Palladino finished just 0.88 seconds ahead of Skidmore's relay team to claim the victory.

Vassar finished the day with eight individual victories, and tallied a series of second and third place finishes that made the difference.

Next Up:
The Vassar Swimming and Diving teams will again swim at Kresge Pool next Saturday, November 15 when RPI travels to Poughkeepsie for a dual meet.
