Alex Gonzales (Aliso Viejo, CA/Mater Dei) scored his second goal of the season in the victory, which was the eventual game-winner is Vassar's eighth shutout of the season.
A Look at the Raptors:Bard will wrap up its season Saturday, entering the game 5-11 and 1-6 in the Liberty League. Bard fell to Skidmore 3-0 its last time out on October 18, but topped Clarkson 1-0 on October 18 to pick up its only conference victory of the season.
Sophomore Austin Higgins leads the Raptors offensively with 14 points (6 g, 2 a), which ranks ninth in the liberty League. Freshman Nick Shenberger has also been a major contributor for Bard, racking up four goals and in assists in 16 starts. Junior Daniel Gagne has gotten the nod for the Raptors in goal the past nine games, while a recording a 2.67 GAA and 0.688 save percentage.
Previous Encounters:Vassar holds a 15-0 advantage in the all-time series between the schools, picking up its last win on November 2, 2013 at Gordon Field. The Brewers cruised to a 3-0 victory, thanks to goals from

A Look at the Liberty League: St. Lawrence (6-0-1) has clinched the top seed and right to host the No. 4 team in the conference, while No. 2 RPI has also clinched rights to the other home game with a 6-1-1 standing in league competition. Vassar has also clinched a spot and can take the No. spot with a win or a Hobart loss to RIT.
Something About Gordon…: The Brewers won nine of their ten games at Gordon Field this season, but will need to translate their winning ways to the road as the remainder of their games will most likely be played away from Poughkeepsie. The Brewers are 1-3-2 on the road in 2014, and will need to sure up their play in hostile environments to advance to the Liberty League title game and beyond. VC's nine home wins tied the program's best mark over the past decade.

Adam Warner (Tenafly, NJ/Tenafly) is now tied for fourth all-time in Vassar soccer history for shutouts in a season, with seven to his name so far in 2014.
Junior
Gavin Jennings (Poughkeepsie, NY/Poughkeepsie) currently has racked up eight assists with one regular season games remaining, putting him only behind Zander Mrlik (ten assists in 2009) for all-time Vassar record number assists in a season.
Looking Ahead:Vassar's playoff spot will depend on the outcome of Saturday's matches. The Brewers will either travel to face No. 2 RPI in Troy, NY or up to Canton, NY to clash with top-seeded St. Lawrence.
