Box Score                   POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (September 27, 2013) – The Vassar College women's volleyball battled defending Liberty League champions Clarkson University Friday evening, falling in three sets with scores 25-11, 25-21 and 25-10.

                  The Brewers (9-6,1-1 Liberty League) fell behind early in game one and could not make a comeback, trailing in the match 1-0 after the first set. VC led the Golden Knights (11-4,3-0 LL) 16-13 in the second set and was tied at 20, but couldn't hold on as CU took the second stanza as well. Game three slanted towards the hosts, as Clarkson pulled away for the match victory.

                  The loss for Vassar was only its second in the last seven matches, while the Golden Knights upped their win streak to four. Taylor Mosley (Dallas, TX/Parish Episcopal School) led the Brewers with five kills on the evening. Aishvina Arasu and Xiao Liang paced Clarkson with 11 kills apiece.

                  Vassar will look to get back to its winning ways Saturday afternoon, as it heads to St. Lawrence University to battle both the Saints and RIT in more Liberty League action starting at noon.
