Garcia got the Knights on the board at 9:30 in the first half when he received a long pass and performed some foot maneuvers around a Vassar defender for the opening 1-0 lead. At 13:13, Garcia was found open off a long 30 yard pass from Brandon Mincher for the 2-0 lead.

Jarrett Armstrong had a hand in the final goal for the Knights at 71:31 when he sent the long pass to Michael Ennis who drew senior goalkeeper Ryan Grimme out of the goal and dropped the ball into the bottom right of the open net.
