After Golden Knight goalkeeper Michael King punched out a long Brewer cross pass, Manukyan recovered the free ball and placed it in the left center of the then open net for the Brewer's 1-0 lead at 13:10 and what would go on to be the game-winner.

Junior Tom Wiechert (San Clemente, CA/ San Clemente) recorded his 11th goal of the season at 35:13 when senior Evan Seltzer (Philadelphia, PA/The Shipley School) sent a long pass to about 20 yards out to the right of the goal. Wiechert received the pass and blasted an 18-yard shot that found its place in the goal after it ricocheted off the left post and in.

Sophomore goalkeeper Sebastien Lasseur (Cornwall, CT/Housatonic Vly Regional) recorded his first win of his collegiate career and also his first shutout. Having played in two games prior to Saturday's matchup, Lasseur only faced a total of seven shots and recorded three saves. On Saturday, he faced 15 shots and stopped all seven on goal shots.

King also recorded seven saves on the day for Clarkson, having faced 22 shots from Vassar with nine on goal. Clarkson fouled 14 times while Vassar only committed seven fouls and one yellow card violation by sophomore Jordan Palmer (Woodland Hills, CA/Agoura).

Clarkson didn't have a corner kick opportunity until the second half. They totaled two on the day while Vassar took seven.
