RPI Game Program

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (September 25, 2012) – The Vassar College field hockey team will look to snap a two game losing streak when the Brewers host Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) on Wednesday, September 26 at 4:30 p.m. at Weinberg Field.

The Brewers are 4-3, 0-2 on the season. RPI enters the game at 4-2, 0-1. While Vassar has dropped its last two games to Skidmore and St. Lawrence, RPI has won its last two games over New England College and Kean.

Vassar is led in scoring by sophomore Enya Cunningham with four goals. Freshman Bianca Zarella has three goals and an assist and junior Anna Schroeder has three goals and an assist.

In goal, junior Maggie Brelis has a 3.44 goals against average.

RPI is led in scoring by Alissa Peterson with four goals and two assists (10 points). Holly Duplis is second with three goals and two assists (6). In goal, Katie Shea has a 2-1 record and Hannah Clough is 1-2.
