POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (March 25, 2012) -- The Vassar College men's tennis team blanked Rochester Institute of Technology 9-0 on Sunday at Josselyn Tennis Courts, picking up this weekend's second sweep in Liberty League play to improve its league record to 4-1.

The Northeast No. 11 ranked Brewers (9-6, 4-1 Liberty) host the ITA No. 20 Swarthmore College on Saturday, March 31, at 12:00 pm at Josselyn Tennis Courts.

Vassar took a 3-0 lead after doubles, led by Dan Freeman and Kartik Kapoor, who defeated RIT's Neville Bilimoria and Amos Baptiste 8-3 at the No. 2 position.

In singles, Freeman routined Baptiste 6-2, 6-2 at No.3 and Kapoor gutted out a 7-5, 7-6⁶ over Larry Hall at the No. 5 spot.
