Vassar Notes (2-1): Vassar is led by sophomore forward Alex Snyder. Snyder a 13.7 scoring average and a 15.3 rebound average this season so far. He has three straight double-doubles.

Despite last year's loss to the Hawks, junior guard Sam Rappaport scored a game-high 27 points coming off of the bench. He was 10-20 from the floor and added five buckets from beyond the arc.

New Paltz Notes (1-2): The Hawks recently had two seniors break 1,000 career points. Forward Matt Devine and guard Shereef Taylor hit the mark in the 83-81 overtime loss to Mount Saint Mary College last Tuesday.

Shalik Jenkins is third on the team in scoring with an 11.3 scoring average behind Devine's 22.3 and Taylor's 19.0 scoring average.

Vassar Head Coach: Del Harris is in his fifth season.

New Paltz Head Coach: Mike Rejniak is in his second season.
