POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (October 10, 2012) – Fresh off a 3-1 victory over Kean University last Saturday, the Vassar College field hockey team will next travel to SUNY New Paltz on Friday, October 12 for a 4:00 p.m. game. Live stats are available at this link.

Prior to facing Vassar, the Hawks (8-4) hosted Liberty League member RPI on Wednesday.

The Brewers (7-4), last played New Paltz in the 2010 season and lost a 1-0 game.  In the series dating back to 2000, Vassar holds a 6-5 lead, but has lost the last three contests. Vassar won the 2007 contest at New Paltz 1-0.

Senior co-captains Rebecca Smith and Ana Schroeder lead Vassar in scoring, both with five goals and four assists.
