CLAREMONT, CA (March 9, 2011) -- The Vassar College men's tennis team put up a respectable fight against the No. 7 ranked Kenyon College but came up short in two of three matches that featured tiebreakers as the Lords won 7-2 Wednesday afternoon at Rogers Tennis Facility.
The Brewers (6-3) next compete in the Stag-Hen Classic on Friday, March 11 with an opening round match against No. 4 ranked Emory. The Lords (5-2) play Sewanee on March 10 at 11:00 a.m.

Kartik Kapoor came up just shy 14-12 in the tiebreaker against Kevin Ye and Jake Matthews.
In singles, Vassar's only win came at the No. 2 position as the No. 7 nationally ranked Guzick topped the No. 33 ranked Jeremy Polster 6-4, 7-6
