SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (February 26, 2011) -- The Vassar College men's tennis team experienced its first loss of the season, 7-2 on the road against Liberty League rival Skidmore College Saturday afternoon.
The Brewers (3-1) travel to Maryland for the first leg of the Spring Break Trip on Friday, March 4 for a 3:30 p.m. match against No. 25 Salisbury University followed by a 10:00 a.m. match with No. 13 Johns Hopkins at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The team flies to Southern California for the six match Spring Break trip that begins with Occidental on March 7 at 10:00 a.m. The Thoroughbreds (3-0) next compete on their Spring Break Trip with a match against Lafayette on March 14.

Andrew Guzick came up just short in a 9-7 loss to Skidmore junior Luke Granger and senior Yahia Imam.
Vassar's only wins came at the top of the lineup from the Guzick brothers. Junior
Ben Guzick knocked off Granger 6-4, 6-4 at the No. 1 spot and Andrew brought down senior Spencer Cheng 6-3, 6-4 at the No. 2 position.
