TROY, NY (November 12, 2011) -- Although the Vassar College women's swimming and diving team suffered its first loss of the season Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) by a score of 174-126 on Saturday; the team posted numerous in-season best times.
"Going into the meet we knew it could be a close one,” said head coach
Lisl Prater-Lee We raced well but RPI was able to step up in some events and gain some points that we just couldn't answer today. We can use this meet as motivation for next Saturday's meet with New Paltz where, once again, we can expect everyone to get up and give it everything they have."
