With the Bantams leading 139-137 heading into the final event, the winner of the 200 freestyle relay would claim 11 points and clinch victory in the dual meet. Trinity's 'A' team of Megan Chiu, Sara Mullen, Shelby Friel, and Emily Jensen took first place in 1:42.72 to clinch the win, edging Vassar's 'A' team of Hayley Lemoine, McKenzie Quinn, Meg McCarty, and Sam Jones that finished second place in 1:44.93.

The Brewers (1-3-1) compete in the two-day Seven Sisters Championships this Saturday and Sunday, January 22-23 at Wellesley College.

The Brewers started quickly, taking first and third in the 200 medley relay. The 'A' team of Jones, McCarty, Shannon Sara, and Sydnie Alquist took first in 1:56.06.

Senior Melissa Brower posted a season best with a win in the 100 backstroke in 1:05.14. She finished second in the 200 backstroke in 2:21.52.

Jones celebrated her senior day in the final home event of her career with wins in the 50 free in 25.99 and the 200 backstoke in 2:18.15.

Freshman Alison Burns won the 1000 freestyle with a season best time of 11:13.82. She finished first in the 500 free in 5:33.40, and second in the 200 fly in 2:24.22.

Sophomore Sam McClenahan improved on her 1m dive with 158.55 points, good for third place.
