ORLANDO, FL (March 12, 2008) -- Vassar's men's tennis team suffered it second straight 5-4 loss today, falling to Calvin College. After four straight matches, the Brewers, now 7-2, will have a day off on Thursday, and then conclude the spring trip with a match against Haverford on Friday at 11:30 am.
A bright spot for the Brewers was the continuing strong play of the singles players in the four through six spots, senior Ashish Patil, junior Jeremy Rosen and freshmen Joshua Jasso. That trio all won their matches against Calvin, a college located in from Grand Rapids, Michigan, ranked No. 5 in the ITA Central Region.
