POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (November 17, 2007) -- Vassar's men's swimming and diving team was defeated by SUNY New Paltz, 125-65, Saturday afternoon at Kresge Pool.

Despite the loss, Vassar had many ighlights, including Alistair Hall's (Montreal, Canada/ West Morris Mendham, NJ) new personal best time in the 200 yd free with a 1:56.86, a :06 drop from his previous lifetime best.

The 200 yd. fly offered two season-best times for Vassar as junior John Alaimo (Blauvelt, NY/Tappan Zee) won with a season best 2:09.09 and sophomore Dan Pierson (Haddonfield, NJ/St. Joseph's Prep) took fourth with a season 2:29.59.
