ROCHESTER, NY (October 20, 2007) -- Alicia Citro and Lara Bucarey scored two goals apiece to lead the University of Rochester to a 6-1 victory over Vassar College at Edwin Fauver Stadium. Citro assisted on the first goal of the match, scored by Bucarey.

The loss drops Vassar to 3-11, 0-7 in the Liberty League. The Brewers will play their two final regular season games at SUNY New Paltz. The first is on Wednesday, October 23, against SUNY Morrisville, the second and season finale, will be against host New Paltz on October 27.

Christi Bottcher scored one goal and assisted on another for the Yellowjackets. The final Rochester goal came from Kyra Pinsky. Rochester finished 3-4 in the Liberty League, in fifth place. The Yellowjackets are 9-6 overall.

Vassar's goal was scored by Katherine Simon with 1:32 left in the first half.

Rachel Cahan made three saves and allowed the Vassar goal in the first half for Rochester. Robin Levy played the final 35 minutes. She made one save.

Ellie Pomerantz made one save and allowed four goals in the first half for Vassar. Taylor Herman made two saves in the second half.

Rochester outshot Vassar, 13-5 and held a 5-0 advantage on penalty corners.
