The Preserve at Vassar

The Preserve at Vassar is located across from the intersection of Raymond Avenue and Route 376, and is the home to the Vassar College rugby teams as well as hosting all home cross country meets for the Brewers. The Preserve at Vassar features two full-length rugby fields for practice and games which were renovated in 2024 following a generous donation from the White Family as the game field was named in honor of long-time Head Coach Tony Brown along with the practice field being named after alum and major supporter of the rugby programs Charles "Bear" Williams '80.

The Preserve at Vassar is also utilized by bikers and runners, due to the cross country path that has been carved out through the trees, and makes for a great loop for seasoned or beginning runners.
