Eric Rothbard joins the Vassar College men's volleyball coaching staff for his first season in 2016.
Rothbard comes to Vassar with a diverse resume of volleyball coaching experience, most recently serving as the head volleyball coach at Durham University in Durham, England. Responsibilities included leading drills and exercise plans to improve the abilities of the team. These tasks occurred during practices and training sessions helped to lead the team to their best season in England’s top level of volleyball.
Before that, Rothbard served as a volleyball instructor at Future Stars Sports Camp in Wheatley, NY. Rothbard has also served as a volunteer assistant men's volleyball coach at local UVC rival New Paltz. Rothbard graduated from New Paltz with his bachelors in Geology back in 2010, while earning his Masters in secondary education this past May.
