Assistant coach Dieter Treusdell joined the Vassar College men's lacrosse for the 2016 season, as he looks to follow in his father's footsteps on the coaching sidelines. Treusdell's father was a longtime lax head coach at Horseheads HS in Horseheads, NY.Â
Treusdell comes to the Brewers' staff with a ton of lacrosse knowledge and background, as he competed at Stony Brook University back in 2011 as a redshirt freshman. After a year on Long Island, Treusdell moved on to SUNY Cortland, where he helped the Red Dragons to a National Championship game appearance in 2012. SUNY Cortland won three SUNYAC championships during his tenure, as he graduated in December of 2014.
During his graduate year, he attended North Greenville University in Tigerville, SC where he led the team in points with 40 while finishing 15th in Conference Carolinas in scoring. He has experience coaching as well, working the Corning Lacrosse Camp.Â
