Vassar College Athletics

Race Bottini, an alumnus of Vassar College, begins his second year as an Assistant Coach under Head Coach Jon Martin and the Vassar baseball squad.

As a four-year letter winner for the Brewers, Bottini set the Vassar record of appearances in a season as a sophomore, predominately bolstering the pitching staff out of the bullpen during his career.  As a Brewer, Bottini received the 2011-2012 Vassar Athletics Student Athlete Advisory Committee Award and was a member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon Economics Honors Society. 

Before coming back to Vassar, Bottini bolstered his baseball experience by working in Baseball Operations with the Washington Nationals where he assisted in daily baseball operations during spring training including scouting reports, statistical analysis, player relations, and ticketing. 

Bottini is homegrown from Poughkeepsie, New York.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Mathematics correlate when he graduated from Vassar in 2012.
