2018-19: EWFC Fencer of the Year…The senior captain finished the year leading Vassar with a 74-32 epee record… Opened the season 15-5 on Nov. 11… Was 14-0 at the Matt Lampell Hudson River Invite… Went 10-2 on Jan. 26 against MIT (3-0), Boston College (2-1), Brandeis (3-0) and Brown (2-1)… Recorded wins over UMass (2-1), Dartmouth (3-0), Smith (2-0), and Smith (3-0)… Closed the season 17-2 at the EWFC Championships… NEIFC epee runner-up… Career-best 24
th place finish at NCAA Northeast Regionals.
2017-18: Hulsey Vincent had a stellar junior season, leading the Brewers in epee wins after finishing with a 44-18 record…opened the season at Boston College on January 28
th after being abroad for the first half of the season…posted wins against MIT, Tufts, and Brandeis at this meet…went 2-1 at the Northeast Fencing Conference on February 10
th…posted a pair of victories against NYU at the Columbia Historical Meet…finished as the epee runner-up medalist at the Eastern Women’s Fencing Conference on February 18
th and on February 24
th at the New England Intercollegiate Fencing Conference…ended her season as the lone epee representative for the Brewers at the NCAA Northeast Regionals meet, finishing 28
th overall.
2016-17: Vincent continued to shine in sophomore season, with an epee record of 84-47… second-greatest number of wins on squad… November 20
th, recorded a notable 18-3 record with five 3-0 wins…Began 2017 on a high, going 9-1 on January 21, with key finishes over McKendree, Case, Michigan, and UDM…Continued stellar performance into February, going 15-4 in final competition date of sophomore year (Feb. 19).
2015-2016: Marked a strong start to career as a Brewer with overall epee record of 56-51 in her freshman campaign…in VC fencing debut on Nov. 15, outscored opponents 11-5, picking up key victories against Haverford, Queens, LIU Post, and FDU…continued strong performance on Nov. 22 going 10-3 with three 3-0 marks… concluded season with two more 3-0 finishes against Yeshiva and Hunter on Feb. 14.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Part of the Rain City Fencing Center...is a "B" rated epee fencer, as well as a "D" rated women's foil fencer...AP Scholar at Woodinville High School...earned United States Fencing Association All-Academic First Team...Honors Society member.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Erik Hulsey and Jane Vincent...has one sibling, Heino (16)...majoring in biophysics.
