POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (August 29, 2014) – 
Andy Jennings earned his historic 200th career victory as the head coach of the Vassar men's soccer team with a 2-0 victory over Maritime College on Friday, August 29, 2014. The win represents a special milestone for Jennings, who has spent over 30 years as a member of the Vassar College family. Below is a look back at the highlights of a now 24-year coaching career, all of which has come wearing the burgundy and gray. 
Milestone Wins
1 – 
Andy Jennings earned his first win of his coaching career during the 1981 season. It was the first year of competition for Vassar in the NCAA, as the school joined the ranks of the organization's Division III during the 1980-81 year. Jennings served as the first head coach is Vassar men's soccer history producing immediate results, finishing 11-3-2 in his inaugural season.
50 – After a short hiatus, Jennings returned to the head coaching ranks during the 1989 season where he earned his 50
th career victory with a 2-1 victory over Manhattanville College on September 27. The next year, Jennings would begin a 14-year term as the college's first director of athletics. 
100 – Andy's 100
th career win proved to a special one, as the team's 1-0 victory over Montclair State on November 5, 1994 advanced Vassar to the ECAC NY-NJ Metro Regional Final. The Brewers went on to win the championship with a 1-0 victory over Drew, and finished the season with a program-best record of 14-2-1; which still stands today. 
123 – On October 9, 2004, Jennings captured his first-ever victory in the Liberty League with a 2-1 OT victory over Hobart in Vassar's first season of sanctioned completion in the conference. '04 marked the final year of Jennings's tenure as athletic director, as he transitioned into full time men's soccer coach.
178 – 2011 proved to be a special season for Jennings and the Brewers, as the team captured the school's first-ever Liberty League title with a 3-2 victory over RIT on November 5. Vassar went on to advance to its first ever NCAA Tournament that  season.
191 – Jennings captured another historic victory in 2012, as Vassar went on to capture its first-ever NCAA Tournament victory with a 1-0 double overtime victory over Tufts on November 10. The Brewers finished 13-5-3 that season while tying for first in the Liberty league with a 5-1-2 conference record.
Scattered throughout the seasons of these milestone victories are the wins that make up a 24-year coaching career. Jennings now joins a select group of Division III collegiate coaches that have reached the mark, and with a full season ahead there will be plenty more to come.
