Full ResultsWESTFIELD, MA (November 8, 2014) -- The Vassar College men's cross country team sent a small team of four runners to the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships Saturday. The team did not record a team score, but showed some solid things over the 8k course.
Freshman Garsevan Bekuari (Geneva, NY/Geneva) was the top runner for the Brewers Saturday morning, as he finished with a time 28:53.09. Bekuari ran a smart race, and could be someone to watch for the Brewers in the coming seasons.
Fellow freshman
Kyle Estrada (Ladrea Ranch, CA/San Juan Hills) posted a 29:21.55 for Vassar, coming in 185th place, while sophomore
Logan Serp (Commack, NY/Commack) placed 173rd with a time of 29:05.49. Serp's previous personal-best of 29:30 was bested by 25 seconds on Saturday.
Junior
Kyle Dannenberg (New York, NY/Birch Wathen Lenox School) also competed for the Brewers Saturday, and just missed his personal best time, clocking in with a 30:18.51.
The Brewers compete in the NCAA Atlantic Regionals next Saturday afternoon in Rochester, NY, starting at 11 am.
