POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (February 9, 2012) – With nine Vassar College Athletics programs in action this weekend, men's and women's squash, men's tennis, and men's swimming host home events.
SQUASH
Men's (7-12) and women's squash (4-11) celebrate Senior Day on Saturday, February 11, following an 11:00 a.m. match against Wesleyan at Kenyon Hall. On Sunday, women's squash faces Tufts at 11:30 a.m. The men's side takes on Siena College at 12:00 p.m. and Bard at 3:00 p.m.
MEN'S TENNIS
The Brewers (1-0) open the spring dual match season on Saturday at home against Farmingdale State at 11:00 a.m. and Baruch at 3:00 p.m. On Sunday, Vassar travels to West Point to play the US Military Academy at 5:00 p.m. Coming off a run to the ITA National Small College Championships last fall, brothers Ben Guzick and Andrew Guzick are the ITA No. 6 ranked doubles team in the nation.
MEN'S SWIMMING
The Brewers host Bard, Mount St. Vincent, Sarah Lawrence, and Skidmore in the Sprint Invite on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
MEN'S VOLLEYBALL
Men's Volleyball (2-2) travels to Stevens Institute of Technology for the first United Volleyball Conference (UVC) Crossover matches. On Saturday, Vassar will face Nazareth College at 1:00 p.m. and Medaille College at 5:00 p.m. On Sunday at Noon, the Brewers face Elmira College. Results and Statistics can be found at the

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Women's Basketball (12-8, 6-5 Liberty League) looks to stay in the mix for a league playoff berth with two big league games this Friday night at 6:00 p.m. against Clarkson and on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. versus St. Lawrence. The Brewers split their previous games against those two opponents, losing to the league-leading Saints 67-60 and defeating the Golden Knights 74-52. Follow the action at the links below:

MEN'S BASKETBALL
Men's Basketball (6-14, 2-9 Liberty League) will look to snap a six game losing streak with away league games against Clarkson on Friday night at 8:00 p.m. and St. Lawrence on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. The Brewers had competitive games against each team earlier this season, losing to St. Lawrence 64-51 and Clarkson 76-73. FENCING
Men's (13-14) and women's (16-16) fencing travel to UMass on Saturday for bouts against Wellesley at 9:00 a.m., Sacred Heart at 10:00 a.m., Dartmouth at 11:00 a.m., UMass at 12:00 p.m., Boston University at 1:00 p.m., and University of New Hampshire at 2:00 p.m.
