POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (May 6, 2010) – After setting a new program-high for single season goals, junior attack Sarah Warner earned a Liberty League First Team selection and the Vassar College women's lacrosse team garnered three end of season awards, as voted on by coaches around the league. Senior midfielder Liz Pacheco was named to the Second Team, while senior defender Lindsay Magida received Honorable Mention.

Returning Honorable Mention selection… Led Vassar in scoring with 57 goals and in assists with 13 ... Led Vassar in ground balls with 49 and shots with 106 ... Second in the Liberty League in scoring with 57 goals and in goals per game (3.56) ... Ranked eighth in assists and was third overall in points per game (4.38) ... Had three game winning goals, tied for second in the league ... Ranked second in the league in ground balls (49, 3.06) and in draw controls (42, 2.62) ... Her 106 shots (6.62 per game) ranked fourth in the league ... Had an .802 shots on goal percentage ... Ranked fourth in caused turnovers per game (24, 1.50) ... Her 57 goals set a new Vassar single season scoring mark ... Had six games during the season with five or more goals, including a career-high six goals against William Smith ... The six goal game was tied for third best in a single game in school history ... Had a career-high 10 shots against St. Lawrence ... Had nine points against Clarkson (5 goals, 4 assists), fourth best single point game in school history ... Liberty League and ECAC Upstate Player of the Week on April 26.

Had 13 assists, tied for best on the team and fourth in the Liberty League ... Earned 45 ground balls this season, second best on the team and among the top five in the league ... Has had at least two ground balls in every game but two ... Tied for the team lead in caused turnovers with 24, which is fourth best in the Liberty League ... Had five caused turnovers against Bridgeport, best single game in school history ... Finished the season with seven ground balls and a goal against Rochester.

Liberty League Second Team selection in sophomore season… Played in 16 games and started in all 16 ... Magida was the heart and soul of a young Vassar defense, and through  her tenacious play and leadership, kept opponent offenses in check throughout the season ... She had 26 ground balls on the season, getting at least one in every game but three ... Had 16 of her ground balls in Liberty League competition ... Had nine caused turnovers on the season.
