Kelly Holmes, were recognized as Rookie of the Week by the Liberty League, while the men's rowing Lightweight Four was named Boat of the Week by the Liberty League on Monday.
Mike Perrone, Freshman Shortstop, Baseball Rookie of the Week
On the baseball diamond, freshman
Mike Perrone continued his impressive debut season. He hit .538 (7-for-13) in three games for the Brewers. Perrone recorded one double, seven runs, six RBIs, and went 6-for-6 on the base paths. In Vassar's 15-8 victory over rival SUNY New Paltz, Perrone went 4-for-6 with four runs, three RBIs, and two stolen bases. This is Perrone's second Rookie of the Week selection, following his first on March 22.
Kelly Holmes, Freshman, Women's Track
At the Matthew Vassar Open on Friday night, freshman
Kelly Holmes continued her storybook season by winning the 1500 meters. In the process, she earned an ECAC-qualifying time of 4:47.83, which set a new personal best for her this season. This is Holmes' second Rookie of the Week selection, following her first selection on March 22.
Men's Lightweight Four, Boat of the Week
In the grand final on Saturday at the New York State Championships, Vassar Lightweight Four Boat finished first in a time of 7:14.0, followed closely by Suny Binghamton, RPI, Ithaca College, and Stony Brook. The line up for the winning boat was

Andrew Tabenkin at Coxswain. The Lightweight 4 has been honored twice this season, the last time on April 12.
