The Brewers drop to 3-9 and look to break a nine-match losing streak when they host Bard College on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Vassar played Bard in the second match of the season, picking up a 9-0 sweep. The Panthers improve to 11-5.

Although the Brewers were unable to steal a game off the Panthers, they put together long rallies against Middlebury. In particular, freshman Jake Harris displayed his talent at No. 1, giving Middlebury’s Valentin Quan a challenge in an 11-4, 12-10, 11-9 loss.
