POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (January 18, 2010) – After strong performances on the court and in the pool, four Vassar athletes representing the women's basketball and women's and men's swimming and diving team earned weekly Liberty League honors. Senior Emily Haeuser and freshman Tori Chaltain were recognized for their roles in a historic weekend for women’s basketball that saw the Brewers jump out to the first 2-0 league start in program history. And representing the swimming and diving program were freshman Mathue Duhaney and Shannon Sara, both earning Rookie of the Week honors in their respective sports.
