CANTON, NY (November 21, 2009) -- Against tough Liberty League competition, the Vassar College men's squash team dropped two 9-0 matches on Saturday, to host St. Lawrence University and defending champion University of Rochester at the Robie Squash Center.
Although the Brewers were swept 3-0 in every match they gave the Saints some competition, and No. 2
Arjun Agarwala dropped a close 11-8, 11-3, 11-9 decision.
The Brewers faced an extremely tough challenge in Rochester, whose top ten players represent their respective national teams.
The Brewers fall to 3-2 and will conclude the Liberty League championships with a 10:00 a.m. match against Hobart College tomorrow.
